The Indian Academy celebrated the 57^th Teachers day on September 5, the students presented an excellent program for the teachers with vigour and devotion. The programme commenced with a shloka dedicated to the teachers by Abhas Malguri, the host for the day.  The chief guest, president of Swadeshi Jagran Manch and guest of honour, the coordinator of the same accompanied by the Director, Principal and Headmistress inaugurated the occasion by the lighting of the lamp.

Dance performances by the students displayed various cultures of India and enthralled the audience. A skit performed by the students of class 10 on “The Challenges faced by the teacher” was heartwarming and left the audience spellbound. The students sang beautiful songs and recited a poem for their loving teachers. Hindi and English speeches by students showed their gratitude towards their teachers for making their journey a wonderful experience. It was very enlightening to see the students prepare and perform on this occasion and display their devotion towards their teachers.
