The Annual Science and Art & Craft Exhibition 2023-24

The Annual Science and Art & Craft Exhibition was held on Saturday, 25th November 2023 at the school campus.

The Art & Craft Exhibition was honored by the presence of Chief Guest Col. Kirti Dhar Kaparwan and Guest of Honour Ms. Geeta Khanduri, Principal of The Indian Academy, Karnaprayag.

The Annual Science Exhibition was graced by Chief Guest Sh. Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’, MLA, and Guest of Honour Deputy Commandant Arjit Pokhriyal of the Indian Armed Forces.

The Art & Craft Exhibition highlighted the creative talents of students from Grades I to VII, while the Science Exhibition showcased the ingenuity of students from Grades VIII to XII. Visitors were welcomed by the school band and were treated to a range of expressive student creations, including paintings, drawings, pottery, bamboo crafts, captivating craft corners, tie-dye, glass painting, and embossing.

Senior students impressed with their exceptional skills by presenting a variety of working models and experiments across subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Social Science, Commerce, and Robotics.

The Hindi Corner offered insights into our Vedic heritage, whereas the English Corner celebrated the works of Sh. Mulk Raj Anand, the father of Indian English literature, engaging visitors with various interactive games.

A highlight of the event was the model of the Virupaksha Temple, created by Humanities students, which won the ‘Best Exhibit’ award. Additionally, students and teachers who demonstrated exceptional talent were recognized.

Tagore House received the Best House Trophy Award, with Mr. Umesh Sharma ‘Kau’ presenting the award to House Incharge Ms. Leena and her students. Guest of Honour, Deputy Commandant Arjit Pokhriyal, presented Ms. Priyanga Negi with an Appreciation Award, while Ms. Meena Rawat was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award. The Director of TIA, Mr. Munendra Khanduri, awarded scholarships to meritorious students for the Academic Year 2022-23.
