Workshop on ‘ Smart and Effective Parenting organised in the school premises

‘The most overwhelming key to a child’s success is the positive involvement of parents’
The Indian Academy,Dehradun hosted a one-day workshop on ‘ Smart and Effective Parenting’ on Saturday,27th August ,2022.The Resource Person Dr.B Pratibha Sharma,Consultant Clinical Psychologist emphasised that adolescents of today have to be tackled very sensitively and tactfully.She shared some strategies to curb the menace of ‘Games Addiction’ as most of the parents face trouble because of their child’s addiction to mobile phones.She focussed on the mental well being of the present generation to make them well-groomed personalities of future.The parents also got an open platform to discuss their queries with the resource person and they appreciated the school’s initiative in this regard.
The Principal,Ms.Neelam Sharma also shared her valuable suggestions by citing practical examples related to the behavioural problems of the students.She urged the parents to provide moral support to their wards as ‘Children need their parents presence more than their presents’.
